35 weeks

Note here the addition of the mattress, window shades and a stuffed elephant (thanks mom!). Pregnancy woes update: Over the holidays I had worsening carpal tunnel pain that led to numbness during the night and woke me up with pain up to my shoulders! Thankfully, my Dad recommended a splint and I have been wearing it at night and most of the day. I still have constant fuzziness in the hand, but the numbness has gone away completely. Sleeping is hit or miss at this point. Reflux/heartburn still present, and pelvic pain pretty much constant. Stretching and doing my exercises really helps things feel better down there. Cankles are still happening and last week I was getting the swelling only on the right side of my body! That was kinda weird looking.

The little boy is really moving around a lot at night lately! His position is often diagonal but sometimes still side to side. Sometimes he pushes out of my belly so hard it really hurts! I'm hoping he is turning into the right position for delivery!

Our labor/delivery class finishes up this week. We also attended our breastfeeding class this week. I am seeing the doctor every two weeks now. Everything was deemed fine at the last appointment; our next one is next Wednesday when they will start checking my cervix and baby position.

  2. Getting down to the last few weeks. Sorry you are so uncomfortable, the bouncing boy portends his personality? Oh dear, you will have a handful when he is about 18 months old. Room looks great Jacki, may I come visit sometime?
